Construction of the 41.5-km Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road from Raviryal ORR to Amangal RRR has accelerated following land acquisition, with two phases costing ₹4,030 crore underway.

The 41.5-km Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road connecting Outer Ring Road at Raviryal with Regional Ring Road at Amangal is being developed at ₹4,030 crore with 3+3 lane access-controlled design across 100-metre-wide alignment. Government acquired approximately 1,000 acres including 87.66 hectares of forest land. Works including levelling terrain, hillocks removal, culverts, underpasses and bridges construction have started at multiple locations.
Phase-I: 19.20-km stretch from Raviryal ORR Exit-13 through Mirkhanpet to Akuthotapally at ₹1,665 crore, executed by Rithwik Constructions. Phase-II: 22.30-km stretch from Mirkhanpet to Amangal at ₹2,365 crore by L&T.
Compensation paid to farmers above prevailing market value in several cases, enabling construction progress. Shadnagar RDO deposited ₹10 crore directly into farmers' bank accounts for 40 acres acquired in Chukkammet and Thummalapally villages. In disputed acquisitions, compensation deposited in courts to facilitate process.
A parallel 55-km radial road project from ORR Exit-17 at Shamshabad to Parigi and RRR is in land acquisition stage, passing through 22 localities. Government offering above-market compensation; reluctant landowners' compensation being deposited in court.

A 41.5 km greenfield radial road will link Raviryal Interchange on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road (ORR) with the Regional Ring Road (RRR) near Amangal. The partially access-controlled expressway will have 3+3 lanes, expandable to 4+4, with a central median reserved for potential metro or railway, green buffers, pedestrian paths and cycle tracks.
The project avoids thickly populated zones to reduce displacement. Total cost: Rs 4,030 crore across two phases; 1,003.61 acres required including 202 acres of TGIIC land and 231.72 acres of forest land.
Phase 1: 19.2 km from Raviryal to Meerkhanpet - Rs 1,665 crore construction + Rs 246 crore land acquisition. Awarded to Rithwik Projects Pvt Ltd at 3.93% above ECV.
Phase 2: 22.3 km from Meerkhanpet to Amangal - Rs 2,365 crore construction + Rs 345 crore land acquisition. Awarded to Larsen & Toubro Ltd at 4.2% above ECV.
The corridor aligns with proposed Hyderabad Metro Phase 2-B from Shamshabad to Bharath Future City via Raviryal, synchronising road and metro corridors to reserve right of way and avoid future land acquisition issues. Will provide multimodal access between Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, E-City and Bharath Future City.
