PVVNL disconnected electricity to Logix Blossom County in Noida Sector 137 over ₹1.5 crore in unpaid dues, leaving 5,000 residents dependent on generators.
Key facts
PVVNL disconnected power to Logix Blossom County at 9am on March 25, 2025, over ₹1.5 crore in dues. The 24-acre society has 2,300 occupied flats and 5,000 residents, now relying on diesel generators. PVVNL said it had issued repeated notices and would restore supply only after payment.
The apartment owners’ association (AOA), which took over maintenance on January 12, 2023, said it has paid monthly bills since then but the builder left the December 2022 bill unpaid; that bill has grown to more than ₹90 lakh. The AOA has filed a writ petition in the Allahabad High Court and said it would settle the outstanding dues by March 31, 2025.
PVVNL is surveying owners to shift the society from a single-point to a multipoint connection, enabling direct individual bills. It has received consent from 400 of 2,300 flat owners; regulations require at least 50%, or approximately 1,100 consents. PVVNL said conversion could begin within one to two months after reaching the threshold.
