Brigade Group signed a joint development agreement in May 2026 for a residential project on 5.6 acres in Kompally, North Hyderabad. The project has an estimated revenue potential of ₹850 crore; the landowner’s identity was not disclosed. It is Brigade’s second major expansion in North Hyderabad within 12 months.

More than 1.5 lakh commuters use the NH-44 corridor daily amid unfinished and staggered construction of the Paradise-to-Dairy Farm (Suchitra) Elevated Corridor. Work on the Suchitra-Kompally section has been suspended for over a year after contractors went to court over financial and contractual disputes. Work began in July 2022, with completion targeted for June 2026. The Paradise-to-Bowenpally flyover is in its final phase, but narrowed lanes, dug-up service roads, potholes and diversions cause congestion.

Traffic police opened U-turns between pillars 35–36 for Suchitra-bound traffic and 21–22 for Alwal-bound commuters. A bottleneck remains between pillars 28–29 and pillar 16 on the Bowenpally-to-Alwal stretch, where a culvert narrows the road; disruptions of 30–45 seconds can trigger long queues.
