The Indore Municipal Corporation, district administration and police cleared government land in Khajrana’s Survey No. 435/1/1/1, opposite Narshah Wali Dargah. The 1.2-hectare parcel, estimated to be worth ₹80 crore, was earmarked for a proposed hospital. Officials demolished nearly 50 huts, 15 sheds, eight shops and three houses. The drive was conducted under Collector Shivam Verma and Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal, and led by Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Juni Indore, Ghanshyam Dhangar.

The proposed 100-bed civil hospital has remained on paper for six years. Although 87 medical and paramedical posts were sanctioned and staff appointments continued, about 80 employees are deployed at PC Sethi Hospital, Hukumchand Hospital and Sanjivani Clinics. The government cited a lack of suitable land for the delay; the Opposition called for a high-level inquiry.

Indore Municipal Corporation's Mayor-in-Council approved multiple infrastructure and development projects:

Property and taxation: Simplified property mutation process through standard operating procedure; property tax accounts to be opened for privately owned properties and plots in illegal colonies with complete ownership documents; no tax on encroachments over government land.

Infrastructure projects: Link road construction from Kanadia Road to Khajrana Temple; international swimming pool at Brahmalin Laxmansingh Gaud Udyan on Ranjit Hanuman Road via PPP model; 60-tonne-per-day coconut waste processing plant at Devguradia via PPP.

Beautification and development: Palasia Square will receive new "Akhand Bharat" themed monument with existing "I Love Indore" installation through CSR participation; vacant space beneath Footi Kothi flyover to be developed as smart hub under PPP; Chandrayaan replica near Rajkumar Bridge platforms 5 and 6 to be completed through CSR.

Markets and commerce: Street food hubs including one at existing hawkers' zone near Annapurna Road pond; new markets at Subhash Nagar and Vallabh Nagar.

Traffic management: Installation of traffic signals at intersections through PPP arrangements based on advertising rights; 70 new gantries with 10-year advertising rights via online tender.

Monsoon rain and Metro, flyover and drainage works have damaged roads and caused prolonged delays on major Indore corridors. Potholes and damaged service lanes affect Palasia, Vijay Nagar, Aurobindo Square, Airport, Khajrana Bridge and Teen Imli Road. At IT Park Square, flyover-construction detours have potholes up to half a foot deep, affecting about 70,000 daily commuters. Service roads along Dewas–Rau Bypass are extensively damaged, with some sections washed out; approximately ₹20 lakh in toll tax is collected there daily. Commuting has become dangerous in Jabran Colony, Pandhrinath and Gadi Adda, Juni Indore. Indore Municipal Corporation has spent on road repairs.

Indore’s 100-bed Khajrana civil hospital was sanctioned with staff and funds, but construction has not begun because the administration has not taken possession of the allotted land. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Madhav Hasani said the matter has been pending for three to four years; Health Minister Rajendra Shukla said approval came six years ago. The Collector has directed officials to expedite pending Health Department land matters.

Staff sanctioned for the hospital have been deployed at city healthcare facilities, including nearly 85 Sanjeevani Clinics operating across Indore wards. Khajrana has two Chief Minister Sanjeevani Clinics and one Urban Primary Health Centre. Hasani said efforts would be made to secure the land and begin construction. Opposition Leader Umang Singhar alleged irregularities in staff postings and called for accountability and a functional hospital.

Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) demolished unauthorized structures in two locations on Monday.

Khajrana (Ward 38): A three-storey commercial building spread across 5,000 sq ft located in front of 12 Haji Colony Bada Madrasa, belonging to Zubair son of Salim Bhai and others. Despite notices to halt construction, owners continued work. Demolished under orders of commissioner Shivam Verma by additional commissioner Lata Agarwal with three Poklane machines and a JCB.

Nipania (Zone 22, Ward 36): Tanya Resort had constructed clubhouse, swimming pool, restaurant, turf, and covered badminton court without approvals. Illegal structures spread over 100,000+ sq ft were removed under zone officer and building officer Shivraj Singh Yadav following complaint to commissioner Shivam Verma.
