Collector Shivam Verma inspected under-construction sites of Musakhedi Square, IT Park and Dewas Naka overbridges on Ring Road. IMC commissioner Kshitij Singhal and other officials accompanied him. He instructed officials to accelerate construction work and ensure completion within stipulated timeframe with high quality. The three overbridges will streamline traffic and provide relief to citizens in daily commute. Verma directed regular monitoring to ensure no quality compromise. He emphasised waterlogging and traffic jams should not occur around construction sites during rains. He instructed officials to create convenient pedestrian passages and carry out patchwork where necessary. Officials warned that penalty would be imposed if pedestrian passages were not constructed within stipulated deadline.
