The Cochin Special Economic Zone is about 1 km from the centre of Chittethukara, while the LuLu IT Twin Towers are about 4 km away. These are approximate distances, not journey times. Seaport-Airport Road and the roads into Kakkanad provide the area’s main road connections. Test the route to your workplace at the time you would normally travel.

Bhavans Adarsha Vidyalaya is within about 1 km, and Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology is about 2 km away. Cochin University of Science and Technology is farther away, at about 8 km. For routine needs, the locality has small shops, pharmacies, clinics and banks nearby. Buyers who need a particular hospital or specialist service should check that journey separately, rather than treating nearby clinics as a substitute.

Vyttila is about 7 km away, Tripunittura about 8 km, and Cochin International Airport about 25 km. These distances make Chittethukara workable for trips across Kochi, but road conditions and peak-hour traffic will matter more than the map distance.

The proposed metro connection is important, but it should not be treated as an existing commute option. The Times of India reported in October 2024 on land acquisition and construction preparations for the Chittethukara and Cochin SEZ stations. Ask about water supply in summer, monsoon drainage at the entrance, lift upkeep, waste collection, noise and the time it takes to leave the neighbourhood at peak hour.
