27 gas cylinders seized in Indore's Bada Sarafa Bazaar

Authorities seized 27 LPG cylinders from a Bada Sarafa Bazaar jewellery shop in Indore for illegal commercial use and missing fire safety equipment.

Key facts

A joint inspection team from the Food and Civil Supplies Department raided Shop No. 63, Kamla Tower, Bada Sarafa Bazaar, Indore.
Officials found domestic LPG cylinders being illegally used to melt metals and make jewellery in a densely populated market area.

Collector Asheesh Singh said fire safety violations will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against violators.
