Lucknow circle rates rise up to 25 percent after ten years

Lucknow's circle rates have been revised for the first time in a decade, effective Friday, with increases of 15-25 percent depending on property type and area.

Key facts

Circle rates in Lucknow increased by 15-25 percent, first revision since 2015. Agricultural land prices up 15 percent; non-agricultural land up 20-25 percent. Properties classified by location and amenities: premium category (apartments with two of: swimming pool, club, gym, segment road); ordinary category; and non-agriculture land on roads under 9 meters wide.

Ashok Marg: premium category revised from Rs 26,000 to Rs 32,500 per sq m (25% increase); ordinary category from Rs 24,000 to Rs 30,000 per sq m; non-agriculture narrow-road land from Rs 30,500 to Rs 33,500 per sq m (10% increase).

Gulistan Colony: rates increased 29 percent for premium and ordinary categories. Indiranagar Sector-1: 31 percent increase. AP Sen Road and Clay Square: 29 percent increase.
