Amrapali Zodiac is one of the biggest project in Noida. It is upcoming localities with well connectivity to main road. residential and commercial establishments in the vicinity. It is approx. 4 Kms from Noida City Center Metro station and also from FNG Corridor.

Noida residents want garbage dumping yard relocated from sectors

Residents of Amrapali Zodiac and Eldeco Aamantran in Noida sectors 119-120 demand relocation of a nearby garbage dumping yard causing health hazards.

Residents of Eldeco Aamantran and Amrapali Zodiac societies in Noida's sectors 119 and 120 are protesting against a garbage dumping yard located approximately 100 metres away. Around 60,000 people reside in the two sectors.

Complaints include persistent foul smell throughout the day, inability to open windows and balconies, health issues for residents with respiratory conditions, difficulty for children to play outside, and mosquito breeding grounds increasing vector-borne disease risks. When it rains, dumped garbage mixes with rainwater creating toxic conditions.

Noida High Rise Federation (NHRF) has sought action from authorities, citing serious health concerns. The Noida authority confirmed waste was being temporarily dumped due to a sanitation workers' strike but assured garbage would be lifted soon. Deputy general manager RK Sharma attributed the problem to limited available staff during the strike.
