Amrapali Golf Homes society in Greater Noida has started installing intercoms in lifts to enhance security. The system, implemented after approximately two years of effort by the AOA (Apartment Owners Association) and court receiver's office, allows residents trapped in lifts due to technical failure or other emergencies to immediately contact the security team or responsible personnel. Cameras were installed in all lifts the previous month before the intercom system began. AOA chairman Amarnath Sharma and secretary Mayank Chaudhary led the effort. The dual system of cameras and intercoms will strengthen both monitoring and emergency response capabilities. Residents, particularly children, elderly persons, and women, expect increased confidence in receiving help during emergencies.
