Delhi Government approved three major flyover projects: a new flyover on Janakpuri-Pankha Road, and comprehensive repair of flyovers in Zakira and Seelampur.

Janakpuri-Pankha Road: Government approved engagement of a consultant to conduct feasibility study and prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR) for proposed flyover from DESU Colony to Janakpuri D-Block. DPR will examine traffic volume, road geometry, land availability, engineering feasibility and future mobility requirements. The stretch is one of West Delhi's busiest corridors and a key route connecting West Delhi to New Delhi and Delhi Cantonment via Cariappa Marg.

Zakira Flyover: Rs 20.18 crore sanctioned for repair and rehabilitation. Constructed in 1970s, connects Rohtak Road and Najafgarh Road in outer Delhi. Carries heavy traffic including commercial vehicles from industrial hubs (Mundka, Nangloi, Anand Parbat). Work includes repair of spalled and honeycomb concrete, replacement of expansion joints, replacement of elastomeric bearings, and strengthening of girders using CFRP laminate and carbon fibre wrapping.

Seelampur Flyover: Undergoing comprehensive repair and rehabilitation as a critical, high-load structure.

PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma stated: Janakpuri Pankha Road needs permanent, well-designed solution; DPR is first step.

Zakhira flyover repair: Rs 20.18 crore budget. The flyover is a chronic waterlogging spot and critical junction. Repair work includes fixing spalled and honeycomb concrete, replacing expansion joints, and strengthening girders to address structural safety and long-term resilience during monsoon season.

Seelampur flyover repair: Rs 17.85 crore budget. The flyover, built in 2006, will be strengthened using modern engineering technologies. Government aims to ensure safer roads, smoother traffic movement, stronger infrastructure and resolve waterlogging issues.
