Mohamadwadi residents report air pollution from construction trucks

Residents of Mohamadwadi, particularly near D-Mart, Royale Heritage Mall, Dorabjee Paradise, VTP Celesta, Dorabjee Paradise Bungalows, Marvel Sangria, and Urban Space, report increasing air pollution from ongoing construction work.
Concrete mixer trucks leave cement residue that hardens into dust, spreading through the area and damaging recently laid roads. Danish Khan, resident of NIBM, filed multiple complaints with PMC without resolution.
PMC Junior Engineer Sandip Dipake acknowledged the issue, stating the road is repaired frequently as RMC trucks and water tankers spill concrete. Cleaning is done with JCBs when concrete hardens from water spillage. PMC has raised the issue with Traffic Police to take action against vehicles damaging roads.
Daljeet Goraya, secretary of Ganga Kingston society, noted the area has transformed into a concrete jungle over 15 years with simultaneous road and construction work causing air pollution and resident illness. Residents demand PMC and developers implement solutions and stricter measures to address air pollution and safeguard public health.
