The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) announced a 10% supply cut for facilities and societies using 40 lakh to 2 crore litres of water per day.
Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate said it was working with the residents’ society and ordering water tankers, but suppliers could not meet 100% of demand. The project’s water-treatment facility was operational and supplying usable, quality water. The developer cited depleted groundwater and dry borewells, expressed hope that the monsoon would bring relief, and urged residents to conserve water.
