The three development authorities—Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna—along with NHAI approved extending the Yamuna Pushta Elevated Road from 31 km to 50 km, costing Rs 4,000 crore. NHAI will develop the project and is preparing a Detailed Project Report.

The eight-lane elevated corridor will begin near Okhla Barrage in Sector 94, run parallel to the Yamuna embankment, and pass through Sectors 95, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134 and 135. From Chi IV near Gautam Buddha University, it will pass through Gharbhara, Mursadpur, and YEIDA's Sectors 27, 26, 24 and 24A before connecting to the Faridabad-Jewar Greenfield Expressway in Sector 23C.

The road will serve as an alternative to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway, expected to handle increased traffic from Noida International Airport. The Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is 75% complete and expected ready by May 2027.

Noida Authority is also constructing the 5.5-km Chilla Elevated Road (55% complete, expected July 2027) and planning a 1.4-km elevated link road to connect it with the Yamuna Pushta Road. Together, these three projects will create an alternative high-speed route between Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida.

The route of a proposed 50-km elevated road connecting Noida Sector 94 to Greater Noida's Sector Chi-V was finalised following a meeting between the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and other stakeholders. The project is valued at 4,000 crores.

Noida Authority approved a Rs 500-crore project to build a 29-km four-lane road along Yamuna-Harnandi doab as alternative route to Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, reducing travel time and congestion.

Project will directly benefit approximately 500,000 people in 75 group housing societies, 25 sectors and 20 villages in Greater Noida.

Benefiting sectors: 94, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 158, 159, 163, 164, 168.

Benefiting villages: Raipur, Bakhtavarpur, Asgarpur Jahagir, Sultanpur, Shahpur Govardhanpur, Shahpur Garhi, Nangla Nangli, Rohillapur, Nangla Wazidpur, Chhaprauli, Mangrauli, Mohiyapur, Badoli, Jhatta, Dallupura, Gujran Derin, Kambakshpur, Yakutpur, Gulawali, Momanathal.

Existing 11.2-km embankment road undergoing renovation at Rs 34 crore; Rs 11 crore released so far. Yamuna doab stretch to be widened into four-lane road; 17-km four-lane corridor to be developed along Harnandi doab. New alignment extends to Sector 150, connecting with existing 75-metre-wide road from Kondli-Bangar side.

Large-scale land acquisition unlikely; UP Irrigation Department controls 22-28-metre-wide strip within doab area. Noida-Greater Noida Expressway currently handles 10 lakh vehicles daily. CEO directed immediate action plan preparation. Project aims to support development of Sports City and JP Wish Town.

New Agra Urban Centre will be developed along Yamuna Expressway at its termination point within Agra district, between Greater Noida and Agra. Project covers 14,480 hectares across 44 villages, roughly half the size of Noida. YEIDA tasked with designing and developing as part of Master Plan 2041. Divided into three zones following Noida and Greater Noida template.

Residential and Infrastructure: Around 1.4 million homes proposed, some priced at Rs 14 lakh. Residential colonies and civic infrastructure to accommodate approximately 1.4 million people.

Industry and Jobs: Only non-polluting, soft industries permitted including IT and textiles. Theme park, entertainment zones, budget and luxury hotels (five-star and seven-star) planned. Expected to generate around 1 million jobs.

Connectivity: Located roughly 120 km from Noida International Airport at Jewar. Namo Bharat Rapid Rail Transit System corridor proposed to link airport with Agra. Freight corridor terminal near Tundla Junction to be linked by rail. Integrated multimodal cargo terminal to be developed.

Environmental: Area near Taj Trapezium Zone; environmental safeguards factored into planning.

Greater Agra Project: Separate township cluster by Agra Development Authority covering 449 hectares in Raipur and Rahankalan within Agra city. 10 smaller townships including Gangapuram and Yamunapuram. Plot bookings open June 29 to July 29. Will provide residential plots to close to 30,000 families. Features sports academy, cricket stadium, super-specialty hospital, medical colleges, international schools, university campuses. 20-25% area reserved for parks and green belts. Main roads 45-60 metres wide, internal roads 9-12 metres. First area in Agra with underground cabling and round-the-clock power and water backup.

Noida Authority has begun preparations for smooth transportation in New Noida, which will be built on land belonging to 80 villages in Dadri and Bulandshahr, Greater Noida. The development will have direct connections with Yamuna and Ganga Expressway.
