There are Schools, Colleges, Hospitals, Temples, Mosques, Churches, supermarkets, Doctors, Banks, Shops, Hotels, Theater and moreover it is a main junction on National Highway 66 (earlier 17). There are plenty of high rise buildings coming up. NREs and other are settling down here. This is a business center and every Sunday we have the weekly wholesale market, that is how this place is named Santhekatte.

Santhekatte is a fast developing area. People prefer this place after Udupi which has become very crowded now. There are plenty of high rise buildings coming up. People from far off places are settling down here. Clean place, no pollution and greenery all around.
Educated and Peace loving people reside here.

Cons
There are no Malls and Supermarket.
