Urban Estate area on Patiala-Rajpura Road at Patiala is one of the new emerging Township of Patiala which is located adjacent to the By-Pass Road which is likely to be inaugurated within a month's time.Very big Brands of the consumer segment and several banks have come up in the area.With the opening of the By-Pas,this area is going to witness a sea-change in development as the entire traffic from Bathinda/Fazilka/Abohar/Sunam & Sangrur belt would by-pass Patiala and land in the urban Estate which has in place almost all the leading Eating Joints,restaurants,Branded shops & consumer outlets, modern Gyms, Banks,Wine shops and lush green Parks where the on-going travelers to & from Chandigarh would find solace as there is no other such a comparable good place throughout the journey.Moreover,the new Bus-stand of Patiala is also going to be shifted from the present place to a new place which would further reduce the distance from Urban Estate to Bus Stand by around 3 KMs.A very big shopping mall is on the anvil on Choura Rd;which is just 1 KM from Urban Estate.As such,this area is going to witness a sea change in the coming months and would become a Premier Area of Patiala having potential of accelerated business,commercial & economic activity.
