SRK Group To Invest Rs 5,000 crore In Next 5 Years

SRK Group's Five-Year Investment Plan

Targeting New Cities and Various Projects

Real estate firm SRK Group is set to invest Rs 5,000 crore over the next five years in developing properties across India, focusing on expansion to new cities. South India, in particular, is part of the group's strategic interest. Speaking to industry sources, Chairman and Managing Director K Rasheed Malik of the Pune-based company, confirmed the group's exploration of new areas and projects.

Investment in Kerala and Nationally

Sources reveal that SRK Group is expected to inject approximately Rs 2,000 crore in real estate ventures in Kerala over five years, with plans to launch several residential projects within the next six months. Malik shared that markets such as Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Chennai are also on the radar for potential growth. The group is currently in discussions with land owners to acquire additional property, although no deals have been officially closed.

Diversified Portfolio Expansion

SRK Group's push for expansion includes plans to develop approximately 15 projects across five new cities, covering over 100 acres of land in aggregate. Notably, Delhi will be targeted for strictly commercial developments, whereas the other cities will see a blend of both commercial and residential projects. In a commendable social initiative, the group also intends to construct 100 housing units for Adivasis and underprivileged communities in Kerala free of cost, alongside launching healthcare facilities and ambulance services in rural areas of Kerala.
