Piramal Sunteck Realty recently acquired two plots in Navi Mumbai for a sum exceeding thirty-one crore rupees. These plots were among five available, totaling approximately eleven thousand square meters, put up for auction by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) for an aggregate cost of eighty crore rupees.\n\nThe Piramal-Sunteck group had bid for all five plots but secured only two. The other three plots were won by Millennium Enterprise, Atul Aggarwal & Sons, and Prajapati Constructions. Sources indicate that Piramal-Sunteck intends to develop its acquired plots for both residential and commercial purposes, with residential development comprising 75% of the total area.\n\nCidco had initiated the bidding process about a month earlier. The plots are situated in Airoli, with sizes ranging from fifteen hundred square meters to thirty-five hundred square meters. This successful auction follows the cancellation of the bid for Finlay Mill. National Textile Corporation (NTC) is reportedly seeking higher valuations compared to the Rs 710 crore bid submitted by Lodha Developers.
