The Eaap Directory 2008

The EAAP Directory 2008, a comprehensive guide published by the Estate Agents Association of Pune, was unveiled last week during a lavish ceremony at the Corinthians Club, with notable figures including Mayor Rajlaxmi Bhosle, Police Commissioner Jayant Umranikar, and PBAB president Lalit Kumar Jain in attendance.

Mayor Bhosle remarked on the directory's significance, stating, "The EAAP Directory 2008 would not only act as a ready reckoner for individuals and organizations involved in the real estate sector but also serve as an invaluable tool for property buyers and sellers alike."

This directory features an extensive database of registration offices within and around Pune, along with detailed contact information for all EAAP members. It provides essential tips for both buying and selling property, complemented by insightful articles contributed by experienced industry professionals.

A particularly notable segment of the EAAP Directory 2008 is its legal section, which offers crucial information regarding various guidelines such as service tax, title verification, capital gains, the stamp act, and important aspects related to property leasing and valuation. The directory will be available at major bookstores across the city as well as at the EAAP office.

During the event, Police Commissioner Umranikar encouraged the real estate community to prioritize security measures in their constructions. He also recommended the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) incorporate security features into the Development Plan (D.P.).

The mayor acknowledged the significant impact of the real estate industry on Pune’s growth and commended real estate agents for their role in assisting buyers in identifying properties that align with their preferences and budgets.

Andrew Pinto from EAAP delivered the welcoming remarks, while Sameera Singh took on the role of event anchor. The evening saw film actress Sonali Kulkarni captivating the audience with her dance performances.

Established in 1986, the Estate Agents Association of Pune aims to foster ethical business practices within the real estate sector. It currently boasts over 200 members, making it the largest association of its kind in India.
