Indian Property Show Dubai -2012: Sets To Be the Biggest

Indian Property Show Dubai 2012 Set to Be Biggest Yet

The Indian Property Show Dubai 2012 is anticipated to be the largest ever, boasting record participation. The event will take place from December 13th to 15th at the Dubai World Trade Centre, opening its doors to visitors from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.

Showcasing India's Diverse Real Estate Landscape

Approximately 90 real estate builders will showcase their latest projects across 150 stands, spanning an impressive 4320 sq. m. With an expected attendance of 18,000 to 20,000 visitors, this year's show promises to be a significant event in the real estate calendar. Property shows have become important launching platforms for new real estate projects, offering a diverse range of properties at various price points, often accompanied by attractive deals. Developers will be showcasing properties ranging from Rs.18 lakhs to crores, representing projects from Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities across India.

Industry Giants and Emerging Players

Real estate giants like DLF, Sahara Prime City, Bombay Realty of Wadia Group, Unique Group, Sobha Developers, Indiabulls, Nirmal Lifestyle, Hiranandani Constructions, IREO Pvt. Ltd, Ansal Housing, Amrapali, Vatika, Brigade, and Godrej are among the regular exhibitors. Newcomers such as Ozone Group, Hubtown, Rustomji, Adarsh Build Real Estate, Omkar, and Pacifica will also be present, eager to showcase their projects and capture the attention of the NRI audience.

Partnership and Support

The Indian Property Show Dubai is partnered with and supported by Bombay Realty (Diamond sponsor), Investors Clinic & Indiabulls (Platinum sponsor), and Sahara Prime City (Gold sponsor).

Targeting the NRI Market

The increased participation of real estate builders is seen as a strategic move to tap into the NRI market. According to Mr. Sunil Jaiswal, CEO of Sumansa Exhibitions, "the Indian real estate market does not raise sufficient demand for the projects. Many projects remain vacant and not demanded." Real estate builders are looking to NRIs to fill this demand gap. Mr. Jaiswal further noted that the increased number of developers reflects this trend, particularly in light of the weakened rupee, which makes investment in Indian properties more attractive for NRIs.

Expert Insights and Hot Spot Identification

The show will also feature sessions on the importance of Vaastu in property selection by Ms. Padmaja Yadav and legal aspects of real estate investment by Mr. Ajit Jakadi, a leading advocate in the Mumbai High Court. These property shows serve as a valuable meeting point for developers, experts, investors, and consultants. The show will also highlight emerging real estate hot spots in India, including cities like Jaipur, Indore, Lucknow, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, and Nagpur. Wadia Group's Bombay Realty's Island City Center is expected to be a major attraction.
