Month-on-month, registrations fell 17% from 14,421 units in April, and stamp duty declined 23% from ₹547 crore. May marked the lowest monthly registration volume since October 2024.

Year-to-date (January–May 2025), Pune recorded 99,339 property registrations, up 16% from the same period in 2024, with stamp duty collections surging 20% to ₹3,687 crore.

In May 2025, residential registrations fell 3% year-on-year due to slower momentum in the ₹1–5 crore price segment. Properties above ₹1 crore accounted for 19% of registrations (up from 14% in May 2024), while properties up to ₹1 crore made up 81%. Units exceeding 800 sq ft rose to 32% of registrations from 31% in May 2024.

Central Pune (including Haveli Taluka, PMC, and PCMC) led residential transactions at 75% of the market. West Pune, including Mawal, Mulshi, and Velhe, held 14% of transactions. North, South, and East Pune collectively contributed 10%.
