Manipal - a place where you have lived once and you never want to live any other place again. You feel you need to go back now and again. It has its own magic, you can never feel you are in some 2 tier city of India..A beautifully done up place with its beautiful artistic villas, buildings which all have their own uniqueness. Known as the deemed university, a small village built up by the Pais to a place of International standards...Manipal boasts of many a students who passed out and have made a mark globally, Satya Nadella, CEO - Microsoft, Vikas Khanna - Celebrity Chef to name a few....And who can forget the beautiful End Point with those beautifully made up gardens but barring the black spot (the Government offices) marring its beauty....truly, Manipal is a place to be, a must visit once atleast in a lifetime.

Pros:
  • Lots of eateries available so lots of choices
  • Auto-stands at almost every moot point
  • No problem for hospitals, ATMs, banking, education - you have them all
Cons:
  • Auto fares too flared up; meter reading not taken into consideration
  • Night time travel commute from End Point, via. Vidyaratna Nagar, Anand Nagar becomes troublesome
  • Though lot of restaurants, not many have kept their quality standard
