Approximately Rs 7 crore is to be spent on electricity pole shifting, including relocation of 237 KESCO poles and 253 Dakshinanchal poles.

Railway officials said construction of the Kanpur Anwarganj–Mandhana (CPA-MDA) elevated corridor could begin in Nov/Dec 2026. After completion, Mandhana Railway Station is likely to become the final terminal.
