NPCL cut power to Mahagun MyWoods over ₹72 lakh in unpaid electricity dues, leaving more than 15,000 residents reliant on generators for 11 hours.

NPCL disconnected power to Mahagun MyWoods in Greater Noida West at 9am on Monday, March 16, after repeated notices to the society management went unanswered over about ₹72 lakh in electricity dues. The connection was restored around 8pm after the dues were cleared. The complex has 31 towers and around 6,100 flats. Of these, 4,800 units in 27 towers are occupied, housing more than 15,000 residents. The project remains under the developer’s control; four towers are under construction, and no apartment owners’ association has been formed.
