Five New KSRTC Buses to Operate in Kodagu District

Five KSRTC Ashwamedha buses registered with Madikeri RTO will run as Dasara specials before joining the fleet serving Kodagu district.

Five KSRTC Ashwamedha buses with Madikeri RTO registration (KA-12) were added to the Madikeri depot fleet and flagged off in Madikeri on Thursday by MLA Mantar Gowda. They will operate as Dasara specials during Navarathri, then serve Kodagu district. The buses carry registration numbers KA-12 F-01 to KA-12 F-05. Gowda said he had requested Madikeri-registered buses from Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy during his recent visit to Shanivarasanthe; the minister sanctioned the allocation. More KSRTC buses are expected to operate in Kodagu, and women can use the newly allocated buses under the Shakti scheme.
