It has developed by leaps and bounds during the past 5 years. City bus no. 38 (plying on national high way), and 400 (plying via Scindia) are frequent. Has all amenities.

VMRDA puts Visakhapatnam land parcels up for sale

Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority is auctioning government land in five locations to attract educational institutions and commercial businesses.

VMRDA proposing sale of land sites at Tarakaramnagar, Simhapuri, Chinamushidiwada, Kurmannapalem, and Madhurawada to raise funds and attract educational institutions, commercial establishments, and small-scale business units. Government-owned lands expected to be competitively priced and cheaper than private sites. Most sites in Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam's fast-expanding area, close to beaches and under-construction Bhogapuram International Airport. Seventh such proposal in last two years; previous attempts received partial response.

School sites: Vepagunta (0.95 acres), Chinamushidiwada (0.76 acres), Madhurawada (0.30 acres). Tender opened November 16; registration from October 28.

Commercial sites: Chinamushidiwada (0.25 acres), Kurmannapalem (341.67 sq. yards and 723.33 sq. yards). Registration deadline November 15; tenders opened November 18.

Bulk lands in Madhurawada: 1421.65 sq. yards, 424 sq. yards, 1000 sq. yards, 248 sq. yards, 1313 sq. yards, 400 sq. yards. Registration deadline November 18; tenders opened November 20. All sites sold on 'as is where is' basis.
