Pillars are 77–80 feet deep, 3–4 metres in diameter and spaced 28 metres apart.

A new road cut near Guru Ka Tal on NH-19 is due to open Friday, replacing an older cut that will be temporarily closed for pillar excavation. One lane of the Khandari flyover is closed for expansion-joint repairs expected to take a week, with speed restricted to 30 kmph.
