Indore Clears ₹5.5 Crore Government Land and Demolishes Illegal Colony Structures

- In operations on Friday, Indore district officials cleared encroachments from government land valued at ₹5.5 crore in Bicholi and Kanadiya, under Collector Shivam Verma’s guidance.
- At the village boundaries of Khemana and Chauhankhedi, Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Deepak Chauhan led the removal of an alleged occupation by Jeevan Goyal. About 0.549 hectares, valued at around ₹4 crore, was reclaimed. Revenue staff and police were present.
- In Bicholi Hapsi’s village Bihadiya, a joint team led by SDO Ajay Bhushan Shukla and Tehsildar Anil Patel reclaimed about one acre of government land valued at approximately ₹1.5 crore. A tin shed was removed.
- Structures were also demolished at an alleged illegal colony being developed by coloniser Atul Agrawal without statutory permission on land owned by Shravan Yadav, Lal Singh, Lakshminarayan and others.
- Collector Verma said the district-wide campaign would continue following Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s instructions, with action under law against encroachments.
