Great Nag Road is a very developing in the last decade. It is very useful for commercial as well as residential purposes. Area has 3 showrooms that are Maruti, Tata, and Honda. Additional state bus stand is on the walking distance. Dainik bhaskar, janwaad presses are located. Ashirwaad theatre is there. And on the commercial front many tiles showrooms and engineering shops are too. Tata and godrej are building there township in the vicinity.

Nagpur flyover clashes with family balcony at Ashok Circle

The 8.9-km Indora Chowk-Dighori Chowk elevated corridor on NH-353D, executed by NHAI, is designed to ensure connectivity between Kamal Chowk, Reshimbag Square and Dighori. At Ashok Circle in South Nagpur where five arterial roads converge, a massive rotary is being built.

A section of the viaduct came up flush against the Patre family's balcony at Ashok Circle on Great Nag Road. NHAI claims the structure is strictly as per approved designs with a 1.5-metre gap between the flyover beam and balcony, and the balcony is an unauthorised extension flagged for removal. NMC officials branded the house as illegal, constructed without a sanctioned plan on Nazul land in a slum zone. House owner Pravin Patre stated the road is 14 to 15 feet above the balcony with no safety issue, and the family had cooperated with authorities on the balcony extension.
