Residents of Godrej Summit face persistent waterlogging and broken roads on Dhanwapur Road connecting to Dwarka Expressway since July, affecting 2,000 families.

Residents of Godrej Summit in Sector 104 struggle with persistent waterlogging on Dhanwapur Road, a 500 to 600 meter stretch connecting the society to Dwarka Expressway. The road serves two housing societies: Godrej Summit and Zara Aavaas.

Sewage line from Rajendra Park and Surat Nagar lacks capacity to handle all connections, causing frequent overflow and flooding since July. The road has not been recarpeted since construction in 2017 and is filled with large potholes. Over 2,000 families reside in the area.

Residents report severe impact on daily commute, schoolchildren's transport, pedestrians, and two-wheeler riders. Sewage leakage poses health hazards. No alternative route exists to Dwarka Expressway.

Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) official stated sewage line work was delayed due to administrative issues but is now underway. Problem originated in Surat Nagar phase 1. An estimate for road repair has been prepared and tenders will be issued soon.

Three flat buyers from Gwalior, Gujarat and Pune jointly booked a 2000+ sq.ft. flat in Godrej Summit, Gurgaon (joint venture: Godrej Projects Development and Magic Info Solutions) for approximately Rs 2 crore. Building plan approved September 5, 2012. Builders collected nearly 75% of total cost between 2014-2017 but failed to execute agreement. Project advertised entry through 24-meter wide access road 500 meters from Dwarka Expressway; actual connection was 10.06-meter road with encroachments. Additional lapses: project dependent on water tankers, generators for electricity, no piped gas despite promises. Builders demanded balance payment plus stamp duty and registration charges. National Commission order (October 11, 2024) found builders failed to prove buyers were speculators. Commission held that consumers cannot wait indefinitely for promised amenities and builders sell lifestyle expectations. Ordered full refund with 9% interest.
