Twenty housing societies across Noida and Greater Noida have been selected for the first phase of a pilot shifting domestic LPG consumers to PNG. District Supply Officer Nilesh Utpal held a coordination meeting on Wednesday with representatives of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), IOCL, BPCL, HPCL and LPG distributors. The selected societies already have PNG networks and received notices more than three months ago; conversion will follow the prescribed procedure after the notice period is complete. Residents and society managements have been asked to facilitate the transition.
Named societies in Greater Noida West include Divyansh Flora GC-II, White Orchid, Saya Zion, Avenue GC 6 in Gaur City, ATS Nobility, Amaatra Homes, ATS Happy Trails, Regency Park and Vihaan Greens. Proview is also named in Greater Noida.
