Binsar is a dense forest and comes under Almora district. If you are planning to visit Binsar. Keep following points in your mind:
Do not go by own vehicle if you never drove on high altitude,as there are sharp bent along with slope and at few points road condition is not good.You can hire local driver.
Switch off the stereo while driving in to Binsar forest. There are two reasons behind this: 1. You are easily hear other vehicle's sound which is coming from other direction. 2. Animal will not get harmed by noise.
Once you reach near Kumaon mandal restaurant, have lunch/breakfast there.They serve awesome food. And then head towards Jhandidhar and do not forget to take guide as that's a dense forest and vehicle can not go there.
Enjoy day there and spend night in night stays there.
