Belghoria is a middle class locality, a suburban municipal town just about 25-30 minutes bus journey away from Shyambazar area of Kolkata. The western part, taking the the railway as the dividing line of the township, has of late developed into a self-sufficient neighbourhood with all the facilities of urban living like good schools, shopping malls, an undergraduate college, a well-equipped hospital apart other clinics and diagnostic centres, library, markets,etc. There are some good doctors too in the locality. A metro station is also coming up soon which will facilitate easier and faster communication with the city proper. So overall it appears to be a promising location to live in the years to come.

  • Good and reputed schools both- English and Bengali medium
Cons:
  • Communication with main city plagued by frequent traffic jams
  • Conservancy services still poor.

Belghoria is in Northern part of kolkata, approximately 10kms from kolkata airport connected with expressway and surrounded with markets, schools colleges and hospitals. Its one of the most happening places in north kolkata. Also has a railway station and shortly will also be connected by metro from dunlop. Lot of showroom of all automobiles and retail gaints.
