The township will include a shopping complex, school, hospital, gymnasium, marriage hall, multipurpose hall, place of worship, green spaces, wider internal roads and multi-level parking. Plans also include rainwater harvesting, solar lighting, 24-hour water and electricity, and modern security systems. The site is near Bhootnath Metro Station.
The proposal was discussed at a meeting chaired by Vinay Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department, attended by the Bihar State Housing Board, NBCC and residents; officials said most residents supported it. The government targets completion within three years. Redevelopment will be phased, with transit rent for affected residents, and construction will start after approvals. The project will be registered with RERA. Newly allotted flats will be freehold. Freehold owners will receive allotment incentives; residents without dues can choose flats, while those with dues will be allotted through a lottery. Accumulated interest may be waived for residents settling dues in a lump sum.
