Chief Commissioner M Maheshwar Rao conducted late-night inspection from 11:30 pm to 2:45 am reviewing white-topping progress on Hennur-Bagalur Road, asphalting on Outer Ring Road, Hosakerehalli Flyover completion, and JC Road white-topping project.

JC Road: White-topping work from Minerva Circle to Town Hall (1 km stretch) in progress. Half completed and open to traffic; remaining 250 meters to finish within four days.

A viral video shows the Hennur–Bagalur stretch from Sparsh Hospital to Bagalur Colony filled with deep potholes and uneven surfaces, with vehicles struggling to navigate. Residents say the road has remained untouched for over a year despite repeated complaints. The stretch is part of a critical corridor housing IT and hardware parks, aerospace hubs, two public universities, and at least eight colleges. If improved, commuters argue it could ease pressure on Hebbal flyover and Outer Ring Road, save time and fuel costs for East Bengaluru residents, and reduce dependency on the main airport expressway.
