It is about 2 and a half kilometres from the Ambernath Railway Station. It is also located very near to the highway road. The area has many new sites built.

Pros:
  • There is a big main highway.
  • Rahul Estate is located there, which is very famous.
  • It is a densely populated area.
Cons:
  • In some areas, there is no road.
  • There are some localities where there are now many amenities.
  • There is no big cinema hall.

Situated in Thane district of Maharashtra state, Ambernath is a small town that is home to many industries and ancient temples. It is around 50kms from Mumbai and falls on the outskirts of the city. If you are looking for a weekend getaway this is your place to be. The east part of Ambernath has many places where you can visit and it is also the developed part of town. It is positioned towards the end of the Central Railways.

Agree with the observations made by Ms.Sunita Bharath on 27th Jan 2014. I would like to update the position because the only negative aspect is also being taken care of by concretisation of the roads. The work has already begun and also underground drainage system has been introduced along with Mahanagar piped gas service for most of the localities.

Pros:
  • Close to Nature
  • Ideal for middle class to have first home
  • easily accesible and connected to Metro city
