Mangaon has two Lane Highway to a Four Lane, almost 60% work is over from Mumbai- Indapur. Work has already been commenced for the four Lane Indapur – Sawantwadi. RAIL: The sanction of CST to Roha - Local Rail connect from Mumbai would be extended to Mangaon & Mahad by 2019. CIDCO: Has expanded their territory upto 25 km from New International Airport Mumbai Trans Harbor Link from Sewri to Nawa Shewa likely to start by End of 2015, CM- Fadnavis, After this development travelling time between South Mumbai to Mangaon would be Only 1.5 Hrs (approx) Drive. Mumbai - Mangaon by road from Sion is 140 km and takes 3 hrs Mumbai - Mangaon by railway from Panvel takes 2 hrs Pune - Mangaon by road is 115 km and takes 2 hrs 45 minutes 7 Nodes being developed in Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Phase 1 in India. One of the node is in Mangaon (Dighi Port Industrial Area). Total area covered in Mangaon, Tala and Roha tahasil is 67,500 acres ,and this area across 253 Sq.Km. New integrated industrial and township enclave. Three major industrial clusters Engineering, Heavy Industry and Food Processing Park. Smaller, mixed-use centers in between. Plots in Industrial Zones (plots identified by MIDC for Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor) 67,500 acres land has been identified for DMIC. Government is in the process of acquiring 10,000 acres of land of Phase I and government's rate is Rs. 18.4 lakh per acre.
