Jhansi approved ₹4.59 crore for a three-kilometre road from Gariagaon to Ballampur, with ₹1 crore released as the first instalment.

A three-kilometre master plan road from Gariagaon to the railway underbridge at Ballampur in Jhansi has received ₹4.59 crore in government funding. The first instalment of ₹1 crore has been released, and construction may begin soon.

The road will connect to the Lalitpur route and cut travel by around 6–7 kilometres for residents of Sipri Bazar and nearby areas, including Premnagar and Nagara. They currently travel via the Raksa highway or through Elite and Jail Crossing, adding distance and traffic within the city.

The Jhansi Development Authority (JDA) planned the road and is responsible for construction standards, quality and timely completion.
