Greater Noida authority contracts NGO to collect segregated wet and dry waste from Zone 5 residential sectors starting June 1, 2025.

Starting June 1, Greater Noida Zone 5 residents must separate wet and dry waste at source. Greater Noida authority signed seven-year contract with Feedback Foundation NGO for door-to-door collection across residential sectors: Sigma 1, 2, 3, 4; Sector 36, 37; Swarn Nagari; Sector P-3, P-4; Chi-3, Chi-4; Phi-3, Phi-4. Greater Noida has estimated population of 1.2 million across 95 sectors and 124 villages. NGO will conduct awareness drives to guide residents on waste management. Officials stated if initiative proves effective, it could expand citywide. Waste segregation at household level reduces vector-borne disease risk, keeps public spaces cleaner, and improves quality of life.
