GMDA directed M3M Woodshire’s management to remove unauthorised water connections and replace a leaking pipeline after residents reported severe supply losses.

GMDA instructed M3M Woodshire’s management in Sector 107, Gurgaon, to disconnect unauthorised water connections and replace its deteriorated water pipeline after residents raised concerns at a grievance meeting with Badshapur MLA Rao Narbir Singh last month.

An inspection found 450 kilolitres per day (KLD) entering the pipeline, but only 150 KLD reaching the condominium. GMDA attributed the 300 KLD shortfall to unauthorised connections and leaks, reporting 8 to 10 pipeline leaks weekly. The authority said it maintains the master water supply infrastructure, while the developer or RWA is responsible for internal property water lines.

Around 950 families live at M3M Woodshire. Residents spend about Rs 30 lakh every quarter on water tankers.
