The RoB between Sanjeevaiah Park and Patigadda, connecting Necklace Road and SP Road in Secunderabad, will be constructed as an alternative to Begumpet Road and Ranigunj X Roads to ease traffic congestion between Hyderabad and Secunderabad. GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan said tenders would be floated soon after GHMC and SCR agreed to prioritise the works. Cost: Rs 80 crore. Design: four-lane, 7.50-metre dual carriageway with central median and footpaths on either side, spanning 600–700 metres. A similar proposal a decade ago costing Rs 28 crore stalled when HMDA and GHMC failed to release their combined 50% share of Rs 14 crore.
