NHAI has completed and opened a two-lane exit at the Sain Vihar cut on NH-9, in front of IPEM College, connecting the Delhi–Meerut Expressway to the NH-9 service lane. The widening is intended to ease peak-hour jams and reduce collision risks. Commuters from Delhi, Noida and Anand Vihar travelling towards Ghaziabad are expected to save 15–20 minutes and fuel. The exit also improves access to Vijaynagar, Pratap Vihar and Crossing Republic; heavy vehicles heading to Kavinagar and nearby industrial areas will have more turning space. Iron dividers have been installed near Sector 62 to prevent abrupt merging by traffic from Kanavani and the main highway. Under the revised traffic plan, buses are prohibited from parking near Sector 62 and surrounding cuts, with illegal parking to be monitored.
