Residents say illegal parking by private cars and buses near the Ravi Nagar bus stop has reduced road space for several months, causing traffic jams during peak hours and allegedly diverting passengers from MSRTC services. Touts seek passengers travelling to Amravati. Congestion worsens during office and college hours, when students use the route to reach NU campus.

Between Bharat Nagar Square and Ravi Nagar Square, residents also report open urination near eateries, foul smells, blocked footpaths and roadside stalls forcing pedestrians onto the road. Partial barricading and mesh fencing have not stopped the urination. Residents have called for a mobile toilet, sustained enforcement, encroachment removal, parking regulation and better sanitation. A senior traffic police official said a unit would be deployed to address illegal parking by buses, hawkers and other encroachers.
