She made the announcement at the Shresth Bharat Sampark Yatra in Haiderpur village, held in honour of martyrs of the 1962 Rezang La battle. A total of 114 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment died in the battle, fought at more than 16,000 feet above mean sea level. Gupta said widening of Max Hospital Road and construction of an underpass were progressing rapidly.
