On 22 February 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Meerut Metro, described as India's fastest metro system, and the Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS).

Modipuram: RRTS terminal point, reducing Delhi–Meerut travel time significantly; focused as future residential and commercial hub.

Pallavpuram: Well-planned residential development near national highways connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and central Meerut; mid to high density housing priority zone with government-recognised educational institutions and healthcare facilities.

Ganga Nagar: Township zone regulated by local development authority with designated residential, institutional, and commercial zones; well-planned road networks, public parks, and civic amenities.

Shastri Nagar: Mature developed residential hub recognised in official city planning documents; government hospitals, educational centres, and administrative offices present; limited new construction but retains value.

NH-58 (NH-34) bypass corridor: Prime urban growth corridor identified for highway-led development supporting large-scale township development, logistics hubs, institutional use, and mixed-use projects; integrated with RRTS feeder routes.
