Taluk Headquarters, Nice place to live. There is a Govt. arts college and nearby matriculation schools are there. Vegetable price is very cheap. A flower market is there. Flowers being carried to all parts of the state. There is a good demand for real estate.

  • Nice place to live,, vegetable , flowers are very cheap, Madurai and Kodikanal are 45 kms and 90 kms
  • respectively, Taluk Head quarters.
Cons
  • Narrow lanes, No big educational institution such as Eng. College or Arts and science college. Only
