A dedicated microsite, accessible through UP-RERA's official website, will be launched. This platform enables affected developers to register complaints against relevant authorities. Preliminary observations by RERA indicate that the most prevalent grievances pertain to:

Expanded Role for RERA in Dispute Resolution

Beyond its existing mandate of resolving builder-buyer disputes, RERA will now intercede in complaints lodged by developers against authorities via the microsite. This move addresses a long-standing concern among developers regarding the regulatory body's perceived limitations in influencing industry or development authorities, which are primarily responsible for issuing completion certificates and developing civic infrastructure.

Several projects in Noida and Greater Noida exemplify the plight, lacking essential amenities like proper road access, sewer lines, or electricity connections. The onus of developing these basic public services falls on development authorities. Without these, projects languish, leading to unfinished developments and resultant penalties for developers, ultimately affecting homebuyers the most.
