FIR Filed Against AN Buildwell Over Project Delays
An official complaint, or First Information Report (FIR), has been formally registered against AN Buildwell due to accusations of both dishonesty and participation in a criminal conspiracy. This action follows claims made by 15 investors who allege that the construction company failed to meet project deadlines. Furthermore, the investors contend that AN Buildwell did not provide the rental payments that were initially promised.
Investor Allegations
The aggrieved investors assert that the real estate firm committed to providing rental income if the specified project completion timelines were not adhered to. These allegations form the crux of the legal action now underway.
Authorities Act on Complaint
The formal complaint against the builder was initiated after receiving approval from the Economic Offences Wing, indicating the seriousness of the allegations. Seeking further intervention, the affected buyers have reached out to Navdeep Singh Virk, the police commissioner, to request additional measures and oversight in the investigation.
Developer's Response
Maninder Singh, an advocate representing SK Hooda, conveyed that the company intends to introduce additional renewal projects to address and ultimately resolve the existing issues. According to Singh, "We are in a leading stage of discussion to wrap up renewal of the project."
