Faridabad MP Bhadana Alleged Of Land Scam

Recent land scam allegations in Faridabad have caused quite a stir, primarily targeting prominent local politicians. Among the latest claims is one against local MP, Avtar Singh Bhadana.

MC land intruded in Faridabad

Reports indicate that the Faridabad Municipal Corporation’s (MCF) land has faced unlawful intrusion attributed to Bhadana. Additionally, claims against state Revenue Minister Shiv Charan Sharma and Chief Parliament Secretary (CPS) Sharda Rathore likewise suggest their involvement in land scams.

In a significant legal development, a petition has recently been lodged against Avtar Singh Bhadana at the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The petition asserts that he has unlawfully intruded the lands belonging to the Faridabad Municipal Corporation. The court, upon reviewing the allegations, has issued a notice of motion directed to the Haryana government and other relevant parties.

The complainant, Vandna Kalra, a resident of Faridabad, presented her case to a Divisional Bench led by Chief Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri, along with Justice Rakesh Kumar Jain. After deliberation, the court scheduled the notice of motion for February 13.

Faridabad loses MC land

Kalra asserted in her petition that Bhadana has encroached upon over 1.25 acres of valuable land, projected to hold an estimated worth between Rs. 12 to Rs. 15 Crores, given its central location in the city. Furthermore, she accused the revenue minister of encroaching on land that rightfully belongs to the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), specifically in Sector 48, where a commercial structure with around 50 shops has reportedly been erected.

In addition to Bhadana and Sharma, another petition has surfaced against CPS Sharda Rathore. Allegedly, Rathore has infringed upon MCF land situated in Baliabhgarh, adjacent to Sohna Road.

Moreover, another influential political figure from the ruling party, Mr. Vasudev Saluja, is also implicated in alleged land fraud. He stands accused of establishing a car yard on MCF land that was originally earmarked for a green belt near the railway line and Neelam flyover.
