Phoenix Group Global Announces Launch of Zuri Hotels and Resorts in India

Phoenix Group Global, a prominent developer of luxury resorts, unveiled its own brand of opulent Zuri hotels and resorts on Tuesday, marking its entry into the Indian market. The first of these five-star establishments is slated to open its doors in Bangalore's Whitefield area in January of the coming year, according to Priti Chand, the business group's media officer.

"We are in the process of acquiring land for five additional hotels in key cities across India, including Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chennai, and Nagpur," Chand stated. "The investment for these projects is estimated to be around Rs 10.5 billion."

Phoenix Group Global, a Dubai-based multinational conglomerate with diverse interests spanning hospitality, real estate, and floriculture, currently owns and operates hotels under the franchise of Carlson Hotels Worldwide. The group's existing portfolio includes two hotels in Goa— the Radisson White Sands Resort and Country Inns and Suites — and one in Kerala — the Radisson Plaza Resort and Spa, Kumarakom. Overseeing operations in India are brothers Aditya and Abhishek Kamani.

"All our upcoming hotels will operate under the Zuri brand," Chand confirmed.
